CLAREMONT MIDDLE SCHOOL’S MISSION
THE CMS MISSION IS TO FOSTER AN ENVIRONMENT THAT SUPPORTS AND ENGAGES ALL LEARNERS TO ACHIEVE A HIGH LEVEL OF ACADEMIC SUCCESS AND DEVELOP A STRONG SENSE OF SELF.
Students will experience success and become lifelong critical thinkers and learners, creative problem-solvers, and engaged citizens.
CMS will focus on achieving the following goals towards this mission:
- IMPROVE OUR SCHOOL CLIMATE AND CULTURE through a more comprehensive implementation of the Choose Love Advisory Program.
- INCREASING AND INDIVIDUALIZING STUDENT LEARNING AND ENGAGEMENT by providing schedules, instructional approaches, Responsive Classroom strategies, and improved Yellow Team strategies that provide meaningful and effective instruction.
- INCREASED 21ST CENTURY LEARNING SKILLS as evidenced by improvement throughout the year on the Skills for Successful Learners through the 1:1 Chromebook implementation and Google Classroom.
